Happy Fourth of July! My brother set off some 40$ fireworks and we ate hotdogs to celebrate. The fireworks were nice, but nowhere near the usual fanfare of my uncle's yearly show. The vacation out west is preventing us from going on some usual vacations. Instead of our normal 4th of July vacation to my uncle's, my family stayed home with my aunt and uncle to fix up our house. Our neighbors had a huge party; the roads were lined with cars (of course, we weren't invited). We also celebrated my aunt's 50th birthday with my mom's famous white chocolate chiffon cake. It was good. 12 more days!
