The Beginning of Spring Break
Happy April Fool's Day (or Poisson d'Avril in France)! I don't usually play any tricks on anyone, if I tried to they'd either figure it out beforehand or it wouldn't even work at all. Yesterday, in French class, we made our paper fish, which children in France sneakily put on people's back as a joke. My next hour's teacher is also one of the French teachers, so one of the people in my French class decided to try and put one of her fish on the teacher's back. She went up the teacher, started talking to her, and tapped the fish on her shoulder. She didn't even realize it was there for about ten minutes or so, until someone not in French asked her why she had a fish on her back, ruining the joke. But other than that, I probably won't be involved in any more pranks. Anyway, today's the first day of Spring Break; time to go somewhere warm and exotic and relax, right? No, we're just staying home. Luckily, it's supposed to be really nice weather and my aunt and uncle are coming up tomorrow, but still, it's not the same. Fortunately though, I only have homework in one class, Honors English (of course), so I do have free time to relax (if we're not going to some museum or something along those lines). Even with all these obstacles, I'm still excited about sleeping in for ten days!
