Laingsburg and Science Olympiad

One Invitational down, one to go. The Laingsburg Invitational went pretty well; we placed 3rd place overall. The placings are as follows: Anatomy 6th, Battery Buggy 2nd, Bio-Process Lab 4th, Can't Judge a Powder 3rd, Compute This 10th, Disease Detectives 3rd, dynamic Planet 1st, Ecology 2nd, Elevated Bridge 1st, Experimental Design 4th, Fossils 5th, Junkyard Challenge 3rd, Meteorology 9th, Ornithology 5th, Pentathlon 6th, Physical Science Lab 3rd, Road Scholar 5th, Science Crime Busters 6th, Shock Value 3rd, Solar System 6th, Trajectory 2nd, Wright Stuff 1st, and Write It/Do It 4th. What was really annoying was that 3 tied for 2nd, but got 3rd because we got 1 less 1st place finishing. 1 less! And we would have gotten 1st place in Trajectory if my dad hadn't informed the person who was running the event that he was scoring wrong, causing us to drop down to 2nd. My friend stayed over the night on Friday, and came with us on Saturday. Basically what we did was do stuff if asked, ran around taking pictures and video taping events, and grading the Ecology test, which my mom wrote. It was actually pretty fun; there was only a hour or so where we didn't have anything to do and were just sitting around playing on her Ipod. Afterwards my family and friend went out to eat at Red Robbins, which was good as always. I was exhausted by this time; getting up early and working all day long, so I went to bed at 9 or so. I was still tired today, so after piano lessons, I took a 2 hour nap. That all that happen this weekend.
