A Long Week
This has been a verry long week, and to top it off, we had an all new schedule because of the new semester. It wasn't that significant or that busy, but for some reason I was soooo tired by Friday. On Thursday, I had a French Club meeting after school. We painted posters advertising out Mardi Gras party, which anyone can attend, if they buy a ticket. I didn't do any of the painting, but instead drew a poster on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper that's going to be copied and posted around the school. Then Friday, my sister missed the bus home, which I didn't notice until she didn't get off at our stop. Apparently, she had left her lunch box in her class and had to go back to get it, making her late. So, when I got home, no one was there... not even Kingsley. Apparently, my mom went to go pick her up, then picked up my brother at school, and then they all went to Panera Bread without me! The only other excitement was that our High School Science Olympiad Invitational, which was going to be in Holland, got cancelled, so we were scrambling around to find an invitational to go to. The only two available were already full, so the second one offered to sell us the tests and we were going to put on our own at our high school, just for ourselves. But, then another school, who was going to attend the Holland invitational, and said that they were going to put on a "practice day." No placings or medals, just practice. To round off the week, I had a sleep over at my friend's house. There was one of my other friends there, and for dinner we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant nearby. We stayed up late watching NCIS (recorded), the Miss America Pageant, and Myth Busters, but then we had to get up at 8 this morning because they had to go to church. That's all that happened this week.
