Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!! Isn't Thanksgiving a wonderful holiday; you get to eat tons of good food, all for the sake of giving thanks. Yesterday, my family went on our annual day before Thanksgiving tradition. We bought our turkey from this organic turkey farm, then went to REI and ate lunch at Papa Vino's. It was fun, as always. For lunch I ordered an Italian beef sandwich, which was good, but they forgot to take off the spicy pepper sauce I asked to be removed. I still ate it... it was just a little spicier than I would have liked. The complimentary bread was delicious, as always. And at dinner, we watched Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Today, we've been cooking all day. This morning, I watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV, which was fun. My dad made a pumpkin pie and a pumpkin chiffon pie in the morning, but the turkey has been cooking for the rest of the day. I've taken two long walks today, just to balance out all the food I will be eating soon. There's also mashed potatoes, dressing, spiced pecans, throwed rolls, etc. I can't wait to eat it all!! If find it so funny that we cook all day, and then it's all eaten in 30 minutes. Well, that's life. We also put up Christmas decorations outside, thankfully not until today. Some people in my neighborhood put them up after Halloween! Tragic, I know. We probably would have waited a little longer, except our friends are coming here tomorrow to put up our Christmas tree. Happy Turkey Day!!!
