Tree Decorating

Finally, a day with nothing planned! I can do whatever I feel like doing or not doing!! Yesterday was fun, though. Our family friends, Mark and Kathy came over for our annual decorating-the-Christmas-tree-visit. Each year we go to their house or they come to ours (it switches each year) to visit and decorate the Christmas tree. So, in preparation for the visit, we had to clean all day, and put up our Christmas trees, garlands, etc. It wasn't that bad, it was even kind of fun. An hour before they were set to come, we went to Zingerman's Delicatessen and pick up all the food we ordered for dinner- corned beef, potato salad, Russian dressing, coleslaw, etc- everything needed to make a Ruben and more! We arrived at home, just as they got here. The rest of the evening we talked, ate, and put the ornaments on our Christmas tree. It was really fun, but tiring- and now we have all this leftover food from last night and Thanksgiving. It was a great start to the Christmas Season.
